Elaine Stumpf, a member of the Board of Trustees since 2008, is the current Board President, and the immediate past Treasurer.

It's time for our Annual Used Book Sale! Thurs-Sat, Aug 25-17, open in the Anderson Room, during regular library hours.

Bag Sale Saturday, 12-1pm! Fill a bag for $3!

Cheryl Dash, of Delevan, is pictured with her quilt, "No Diamonds in the Sky," which is the 2016 People's Choice Award Winner, in this year's Quilt Show at the Library.

The Library will be CLOSED Sat-Mon, Sept 3-5th, in observance of Labor Day.

Have you visited our "Story Walk" yet?

The current and last classic story is "The Story of Ferdinand" and it will be displayed until Sept 5th.   The Story Walk is the Library's way of encouraging the community to "Read & Exercise!"

The walk around the library & parking lot is about one-quarter mile long.

Our mission is simple: To provide materials and programs for members of the community for educational, informational and recreational use.

 

The Delevan-Yokrshire Public library is located at 28 School Street in the Village of Delevan, NY. It is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve the population of the Village of Delevan and the Town of Yorkshire, population 4210.


The Library has books, magazines, audio books (on CD's and cassettes) movies (in DVD& VHS formats), and puzzles available for loan for users of all ages.


Library card holders may also borrow e-book titles in reader or audio formats for tablets, smart phones and other electronic devices.

Our 2016 Summer Reading Incentive programs for all ages,

toddler to adults is almost over!

Readers in preschool to grade 12 may come in to show us their reading records for reading through Aug 13, submit reviews for things read by Aug 13,  and collect their prizes until Aug 31.

Adults may continue to submit Reviews online until Aug. 31.

The drawing for a $50 gift card will be held Sept. 1st.

Thurs-Sat, Aug 25-27 Annual Used Book Sale in the Anderson Community Room.


Mon & Wed, Aug 29th & 31st;  5-8 pm.  TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion, formerly G.E.D.) class meets in the Anderson Community Room. Led by an instructor from B.O.C.E.S.


Sat-Mon, Sept 3-5, the Library will be CLOSED in observance of Labor Day Weekend and will reopen at 9a.m. on Tues, Sept 6th.

Gwen Bixby joined the Library as Director in March 2007. She shares her love of reading and life-long learning by selecting materials and planning programs for toddlers to adults.

Our Staff
