Mon - Fri, Aug 31- Sept 4: Annual Used Books Sale in the Anderson Community Room. The "Bag Sale" Continues--Fill a bag for $3.
Saturday - Monday, September 5-7, Library will be closed in observance of Labor Day Weekend. The library will reopen at 9 am on Tues, Sept. 8th.
Thursday - Monday, Sept 17-21, Scholastic Book Fair in the Anderson Community Room. (Also, Rt. 16 Garage Sales this weekend!)

The Delevan-Yokrshire Public library is located at 28 School Street in the Village of Delevan, NY. It is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve the population of the Village of Delevan and the Town of Yorkshire, population 4210.
The Library has books, magazines, audio books (on CD's and cassettes) movies (in DVD& VHS formats), and puzzles available for loan for users of all ages.
Library card holders may also borrow e-book titles in reader or audio formats for tablets, smart phones and other electronic devices.
2015 Summer Reader Gift Bag Winners are: Ian Laird, Teen guy; Wendy Kohlhagen, Auldt 1; Renee Wright, 'Tween Gal, brother and sister Daniel Palmateer, 'Tween Guy, & Samantha Palmateer, Teen Gal; Daniel Vogt, Preschool boy; Camryn Wilcox, Preschool girl; Diane Battaglia, Adult 2; Gabi Heckatorn, Elementary School Girl. Not pictured is Matthew Lepp, Elementary School boy. .
Sandy Tuttle, of Delevan, NY, is the winner of the "People's Choice Award" for the Library 's 7th Annual Quilt Show, held July 13-18 in the library's Anderson Community Room. Her submission called, "Civil War Tribute," and shown in the background, was a "Block of the Month" project offered by the Ellicottville Quilt Shop. Mrs. Tuttle said it took her 4 years to complete this king-size bed quilt project. Her prize was a frame - able certificate & a $25 gift certificate to Creekside Fabric Shop in Arcade. Congratulations, Sandy!

Michael Giles,a member of the Board of Trustees since 2006, is currently the board president.
Gwen Bixby joined the Library as Director in March 2007. She shares her love of reading and life-long learning by selecting materials and planning programs for toddlers to adults.
