Holiday Closings for 2018: New Year's Day,Tues, Jan 1;Memorial Day Weekend, Sat-Mon, May 26-28,  Independence Day, Wed, July 4th; Labor Day Weekend, Sat-Mon, Sept 1-3; Thanksgiving Weekend, Thurs-Sun, Nov 22-26; Christmas, Sun-Wed, Dec 23-26; and New Year's, Sat-Tues, Dec 29 - Jan 1.

The Library will be OPEN on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Mon, Jan 15; Presidents' Day, Mon, Feb 19; Good Friday, March 30;  Columbus Day, Mon, Oct 8; and Veterans Day, Nov 12.

Upcoming Events at the Delevan-Yorkshire Public Library!


"Day by Day NY" is a Family Literacy Calendar/website for families with young children with daily features, such as a story, videos, songs, poems and other activities.Check it out here.


Sat, May 19, 9 am - 5 Pm, Scrap, Craft & Chat Club, meets in the Anderson Community Room. Come spend an hour or the whole day working on your favorite project in the company of other crafters.  Share a potluck Brunch around 1 p.m., and snacks, craft ideas and tips. Bring your own scrap-booking or craft project to work on. Bring a dish to  pass and your own place setting for the Potluck Brunch. Our mission is simple: To provide materials and programs for members of the community for educational, informational and recreational use.

 

The Delevan-Yokrshire Public library is located at 28 School Street in the Village of Delevan, NY. It is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve the population of the Village of Delevan and the Town of Yorkshire, population 4210.


The Library has books, magazines, audio books (on CD's and cassettes) movies (in DVD& VHS formats), and puzzles available for loan for users of all ages.


Library card holders may also borrow e-book titles in reader or audio formats for tablets, smart phones and other electronic devices.
