The Delevan-Yokrshire Public library is located at 28 School Street in the Village of Delevan, NY. It is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve the population of the Village of Delevan and the Town of Yorkshire, population 4210.
The Library has books, magazines, audio books (on CD's and cassettes) movies (in DVD& VHS formats), and puzzles available for loan for users of all ages.
Library card holders may also borrow e-book titles in reader or audio formats for tablets, smart phones and other electronic devices.
Gwen Bixby joined the Library as Director in March 2007. She shares her love of reading and life-long learning by selecting materials and planning programs for toddlers to adults.
Michael Giles,a member of the Board of Trustees since 2006, is currently the board president.

Folksinger Adam Miller will present "Just For Fun Sing-Along Songs"
in the Anderson Community Room on Tues, May 5th at 6:30 pm.
Enjoy an evening of folksongs with easy choruses, musical games and stories with an emphasis on having fun singing together
Adam Miller is an accomplished folklorist, historian, musicologist, and song collector; he has amassed a remarkable repertoire of over 5,000 songs. Miller accompanies his rich, resonant baritone voice with lively finger-picking acoustic guitar and stunningly beautiful autoharp melodies. He makes his home in Oregon. His visit to Delevan is part of his 14-state Spring Concert Tour that includes 37 performances in 37 days!

It's National Library Week! Kids ages 18 and under can "Read Down Fines" 3:30 to 4:30 pm, Mon-Friday, April 13-17. Every 15 minutes spent reading in the Anderson Community Room earns $1 in Library Bucks, which can be applied to Overdue Fines on their Library accounts.
Adults can reduce their fines by donating "Food for Fines."
