Elaine Stumpf, a member of the Board of Trustees since 2008, is the current Board President, and the immediate past Treasurer.

Have you visited our "Story Walk" yet?
The current classic story is "Millions of Cats" and will be displayed through Saturday, Aug 6. A new "Classic" will replace it and be on display for 2 weeks. There will be a total of five classic stories displayed over the summer.
The 2016 summer reading themes are: "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!"(children to grade 4), "Get in the Game, Read!" ('Tweens & Teens), and "Exercise Your Mind, Read!" (adults). The Story Walk is the Library's way of encouraging the community to "Read & Exercise!"
The walk around the library & parking lot is about one-quarter mile .

Mon & Wed, July 25th & 27th; 5-8 pm. TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion, formerly G.E.D.) class meets in the Anderson Community Room. Led by an instructor from B.O.C.E.S.
Tuesday, July 26th, 10 am, Story Program for Summer School Students in the Anderson Community Room, featuring sports-related stories and activities. (About 30 minutes of reading to count for reading incentive program prizes!)
Tuesday, July 26th, 11 am, Preschool Storytime in the Anderson Community Room. Age-appropriate stories, crafts and a snack for children ages 3 + up.

Sat, July 30, 10 pm-Midnight, Happy Birthday Harry Potter Party, in the Anderson Community Room. Gwen Bixby joined the Library as Director in March 2007. She shares her love of reading and life-long learning by selecting materials and planning programs for toddlers to adults.
The Delevan-Yokrshire Public library is located at 28 School Street in the Village of Delevan, NY. It is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve the population of the Village of Delevan and the Town of Yorkshire, population 4210.
The Library has books, magazines, audio books (on CD's and cassettes) movies (in DVD& VHS formats), and puzzles available for loan for users of all ages.
Library card holders may also borrow e-book titles in reader or audio formats for tablets, smart phones and other electronic devices.
